Pure Plex hair care system, does it live up to expectations?

December 29, 2020

Historically I have always spent my money on the latest in skincare and makeup and my hair has always taken somewhat of a back seat, however during 2020 I have really invested not only money, but time into my haircare regime.

Gone are the weekly blow dry’s and replaced with tried and tested products to suit the needs of my hair. My hair is naturally curly, thick, and coloured so finding the right products to deal with all those different issues has always been a challenge.

I was luckily gifted the latest range from Knight and Wilson Pure Plex and not only received their shampoo and conditioner but also their Hair Repair System.

Even after one use I noticed how much more manageable my hair felt, especially combing through when wet – which is usually impossible with my hair! It not only looks super healthy and shiny but I can see already how the ends already seem more repaired.

The hair care system is set into four steps with easy-to-follow instructions to rebuild the hairs natural structure, restoring strength and volume whilst protecting against future damage and breakage.

Part 1 includes a sachet of clarifying shampoo (I ended up using this several times). Part 2 being the bond protecting treatment stage, 3 the reconstructing treatment and part 4 being the conditioner. It can feel time consuming at first, but if you plan it well (I always do my nails whilst the bonding treatment is on) it’s totally worth the effort!

This box lasted me for four washes (although I did top up the shampoo with the extra bottle) so is amazing value for money and if you’re looking to repair dry, coloured or damaged hair ready for Spring now is the time to put in that extra effort!

Both the shampoo and conditioner were just as good as the repair system and helped to not only clean my hair well but also leave it soft enough to style with.

I was so impressed with this range and have continued to use the shampoo and conditioner weekly.
