If there is ever the right time to rock a red lipstick December is THAT time.
A red lipstick is a key staple in every make up kit, but if you’re unsure where to start just remember, when it comes to make up don’t worry about what anyone else is doing, you do you!
That being said, always consider my number one rule. Opt for the correct shade to suit your skin undertone. Not sure what yours is?
Check your veins.
I know, sounds crazy right? But it works.
If your veins are greenish you will have usually have warm undertones, whereas those with blue or purple look will more often have cooler undertones.
When it comes to red lipsticks, the general rule being the lighter your skin (cooler undertone) the lighter shade of red you should be opting for.
